LEAPING CUBE

Privacy & support

The game keeps your journey on your device. Contacting support, using TestFlight or Google Play, and visiting this page are separate activities, explained below.

Who is responsible

Oldřich Janoušek, operating under the Vesthetics brand is the operator and data controller for the game-related personal information described here.

For support, privacy questions or a data request, email support@vesthetics.io. No Vesthetics account is needed.

What the offline game stores

These are stored locally. The offline game does not transmit them to us. It has no game account service, advertising, analytics SDK, online leaderboard or purchase integration. It does not request your email, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, payment information or real-world identity.

Online Route Rankings and purchases are not enabled in the offline builds covered here. This notice must be updated before such features are introduced.

Resetting a trip and deleting a save

New trip is not a complete data wipe. It resets route position and completion, current-trip totals, the current trip’s discoveries and pending cards. Complimentary route-retry help ends.

Your longest safe-landing streak, Clean/Assisted records, permanent Postcard Book, Journey Passport, Souvenir Cases, coins, cosmetics, stored Travel Kit charges and earned active help, earning progress, display name and settings remain.

To remove the installed save, clear the app’s data in Android settings or delete the app on either platform. On iPhone, choose Delete App, not Offload App. Operating-system backups or another device may retain separate copies; manage those through your device or backup provider.

Android cloud backup is disabled for this app. Some device-to-device transfer tools may still copy data. iPhone data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup. We cannot access or remotely delete these local saves or backups.

If you contact support

We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, so we can answer your request. A useful bug report includes the game version, device model and what happened. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.

Support is optional and does not automatically upload your save. New support email is delivered and stored through our dedicated Zoho Mail account in its Europe data center. We do not automatically forward new support mail to a personal Gmail inbox. A shared support address does not create or link a Vesthetics fitness profile. See Zoho’s privacy policy.

If you test through TestFlight

Apple automatically collects beta usage information and crash logs and shares them with the developer. Feedback you submit through TestFlight is also shared. Depending on how you were invited, these records may include your tester name or email, app and operating-system versions, device details, sessions, crashes, comments and screenshots.

This platform collection is separate from the game’s offline save. It cannot be disabled while using TestFlight. We use received beta information to investigate issues and improve the game, not to create a public player profile.

Apple prohibits us from sharing this TestFlight information with third parties. The support-email and website-provider arrangements below do not override that restriction.

Apple controls its own platform records: it says beta feedback is retained for one year and crash or usage information may be retained until bugs are resolved. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy notice and Apple’s privacy controls.

If you install through Google Play

Google Play adds an installation check to confirm that the app came from Play. The Play Store may occasionally need an internet connection for this check after a prolonged period offline. See Google’s installation-protection explanation.

Separately, if you have opted in to Android usage and diagnostics sharing, Google may provide app stability and performance information to the developer through Android vitals. This can include app and operating-system versions, device model, crashes and unresponsive-app information. See Google’s Android vitals explanation.

These platform services are separate from the game’s local save. We use received diagnostics to investigate problems and improve the game, not for marketing or a public player profile. Google controls its platform records and settings under Google’s privacy policy.

When you read this page

This page needs no sign-in, contains no analytics scripts or advertising, and does not set application cookies or read your fitness profile. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamps, to deliver and secure the page.

Necessary hosting and security records are subject to the provider’s retention and security controls. See Vercel’s privacy notice. Following a link to another site or sending an email uses that service’s own processing; the offline-game statements above do not describe those services.

How we use and retain received information

We use support and beta information only to answer requests, investigate problems and improve the game. We do not sell it, use it for marketing, or combine it with a fitness profile. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes. Support email and page delivery use the providers described above. This does not permit onward sharing of Apple-supplied TestFlight information.

Our retained copies are deleted within 90 days after the related issue is resolved. Copies of general feedback or beta information not linked to an issue are deleted within 90 days of receipt. A legal obligation may require a specific record to be kept longer. This is separate from Apple’s and Google’s platform retention and from your own device backups. Unnecessary sensitive information should be removed sooner.

Mailbox deletion is scheduled early enough to allow for Zoho’s documented 30-day recovery period after removal from Trash. Moving a message to a folder or to Trash is not treated as completed deletion. See Zoho’s mail deletion policy. A Europe data-center account does not mean that all service processing is confined to Europe.

Where the GDPR applies, our basis for necessary support, debugging and website security is our legitimate interest in supporting players and maintaining a reliable, secure game and support page. We also comply with applicable legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Apple, Google, hosting and email services may process information in countries other than yours. Their privacy terms describe their processing; contact us for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your request.

Your choices and rights

You can play the offline game without sending us a support email or joining a beta. Where applicable law provides, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, object to legitimate-interest processing, and complain to your local data-protection authority.

Email support@vesthetics.io and identify the relevant support or beta request. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting personal information; do not send an identity document unless it is specifically necessary and requested. We cannot identify your offline save from an email address.

Parents or guardians can contact us about information a child has sent. The offline game does not require children to submit personal information. New accounts, advertising, online features or purchases require a separate privacy and child-safety review before release.
