The Recruit

  1. Grizzly nose to nose with a small grey plush dog half his size, sizing it up.
    a smaller one arrived. it does not smell like anything.
  2. Grizzly trotting away with the plush hanging from his mouth.
    the human bought it for me. i have decided it is mine to move.
  3. Grizzly sitting upright and square, the plush lying against his front paws.
    so now i guard it. someone has to.
  4. Grizzly curled asleep, chin resting on the plush.
    it sleeps all day and gets carried anyway. we are friends now.

Cost four euros. Outranks me.
